“It’s never too late for a new beginning in your life.” — Joyce Meyers
Every single day we are given a gift…a new day, a new beginning. I often tell myself to stop procrastinating your life, Maria. Stop sitting around and just start that blog, finally minimize your home, defrag your mind, simplify your life, create the calm and contentedness you so desperately need. Some days I take tiny steps toward this type of life, but then I take two steps back. I know I’ll eventually get there, but at this rate it`ll take forever, but the thing is…I will get there.
My mind is a huge jumbled mess of many things I want to do, to learn, to see, but then life gets in the way. I`m exhausted from work, I get peopled out very quickly, I just don`t feel 100% and my go-getter attitude is pretty much nonexistent. I just want to sleep or watch a movie, just something that doesn’t take too much effort.
I know I need to start taking better care of myself…get rid of excess weight I don’t need to be carrying around, learn to practice extreme self-care because I’m worth it, go on that trip I’ve been meaning to go on. When I take better care of myself and love myself enough to give myself the life I deserve, then I can be more present in others’ lives that I care about. You can’t pour from an empty cup, or so they say.
So come along with me as I stumble and fall in my journey to the life I have always imagined and so richly deserve.
Ciao for now…
